Pray this Lazaroo with hyperfocus:

“Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying: ‘Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace.’”
(Luke 2:27-29)

Simeon was there at that once-in-a-lifetime moment, Jesus

because the Spirit moved him to be there.

How many times have You moved me, Holy Spirit

and I missed a priceless moment
because I failed to respond?

Pray this Lazaroo in the fear of God:

“‘Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go!’ So they went out and began killing throughout the city. While they were killing and I was left alone, I fell facedown, crying out, ‘Alas, Sovereign Lord! Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in this outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?’”
(Ezekiel 9:7-8)

No, Jesus.

You didn’t destroy them all.

But You do know whom to destroy and whom to spare.

I don’t deserve it –

but thank You for sparing me

right down to this very moment.

Open your heart, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts. Perhaps the Lord God Almighty will have mercy on the remnant of Joseph.”
(Amos 5:14-15)

This is Your Word through the prophet Amos, Jesus

to those who have sinned greatly.

I will do my best to follow it.

Fits me to a T.

Hold nothing back, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes and deprive the poor of justice in the courts. Therefore the prudent keep quiet in such times, for the times are evil.”
(Amos 5:12-13)

When the courts are corrupt, Jesus

to whom can we turn?

Only You.

When the courts are righteous

to whom can we turn?

Only You.

In good times and bad

in hard times and pleasant
in sickness and in health
in happiness and sorrow

to whom can we turn?

Only You.

Pray this Lazaroo in deepest gratitude:

“…he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.”
(Acts 3:8-10)

As You perform most of my miracles Jesus –

You remain unseen.

But every once in a while

You display Your power in a way
that even doubters cannot deny!

Pray this Lazaroo in steadfast faith:

“One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.”
(Acts 3:1-2)

Peter and John thought they were there to pray, Jesus.

The lame man thought he was there to beg.

All three were about to discover:

You had a little something else in mind!

Pray this Lazaroo with burning zeal:

“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
(Acts 2:46-47)

What a happy, glorious time this was for Your Church, Jesus!

Tough times lay ahead
but You gave them this season first.

For every happy season, Father

I thank You from the bottom of my heart!
