Pray this Lazaroo in renewed dedication:

“In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use.”
(2 Timothy 2:20)

Not everyone owns articles of gold and silver, Jesus

because not everyone lives in a large house.

Most of us, however, have at our disposal articles of wood and clay.

May You enable me to use everything You have placed in my hands
to bring glory and honor to You!

Fully open your heart, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions.”
(1 Samuel 3:1)

My guess, Jesus?

Most of us can identify.

In these days, there aren’t many visions.
Some, yes. But not many.

The question is: Why?

It’s certainly not because You have nothing to say.

Could it be because You’re waiting for us to obey Your Word in its written form

before there’s any reason to tell us something else?

Pray this Lazaroo with burning emotion:

“Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ…”
(Ephesians 3:8)

And what a grace-filed gift it is, Jesus –

to tell others about You.

Not just to those who’ve already heard

but to those who’ve never heard Your Name one time!

Most of us can’t go to those faraway places

but we can give sacrificially to You
and help those who can!

Pray this Lazaroo all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
(Genesis 3:15)

No truer words have ever been spoken, Jesus.

Most of us hate snakes – and for good reason!

Snakes bite more than five million people every year

resulting in well over 300,000 amputations or disabilities
and more than 100,000 deaths –

which doesn’t begin to compare to the spiritual damage

caused by the enemy of our souls.

Pray this Lazaroo with deep concern:

“Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed…”
(Habakkuk 2:12)

Most of us haven’t built any cities with bloodshed, Jesus.

But what’s the principle here?

You’re telling us how much You hate it

when we tear others down
to build ourselves up

when we’re so focused on our own success
that we give no thought to its impact on others.
