Pray this Lazaroo with over-the-top trust:

“So they went and saw where he was staying…”
(John 1:39)

That’s what I’d like to see, Jesus –

where You’re staying –

’cause that’s where I want to be.

It wasn’t in a castle.

You weren’t surrounded by wealth and privilege
at least not that the naked eye could see.

You went where You were needed

and still do.

Yes, You’re omnipresent – everywhere at once.

But I beg You!

Show me where You want to release Your power
through me.

Pray this Lazaroo in steadfast faith:

“The Merarites were appointed to take care of the frames of the tabernacle, its crossbars…”
(Numbers 3:36)

The crossbars don’t get as much attention as other tent pieces, Jesus

but they were crucially important to Your tabernacle in the wilderness

helping to evenly distribute the load
providing essential stability when struck by desert winds.

I need crossbars in my life, Father!

Your Word
time with You in prayer
encouraging Christian friends

and may I be a crossbar for them.

Pray this Lazaroo in bottomless trust:

“But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?”
(Luke 1:43)

What a stunning statement, Jesus!

Elizabeth, an older woman, sees Mary coming to her –
a pregnant out-of-wedlock teenager.

What does she call Mary?

“The mother of my Lord!”

In that instant, You revealed to Elizabeth that You were the baby in Mary’s womb!

May I respond with joy and reverence when You send to me

the members of Your forever family.

Pray this Lazaroo in trembling fear:

“When a leader sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden…”
(Leviticus 4:22)

Let me reword the rest of that sentence, Jesus:

“…it’s bad news.”

Good that the leader didn’t mean to do it

bad that the leader didn’t know enough not to.

Being one of Your leaders is such an awesome privilege

and an incredibly fearful responsibility

because so much is at stake.

The only hope that leader has

is to stay deep, daily, moment-by-moment
1on1 with You.
