Sharpen your awareness, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…the Jews…killed the Lord Jesus…”
(1 Thessalonians 2:14-15)

I can’t begin to imagine how much that hurt, Jesus!

…to be hated so fiercely by Your own people.

But not all of them demanded that You be crucified.

Your disciples were Jews.

In the early days, most of Your followers were Jews.

It was the Jewish leaders who deserve most of the blame.

Though not even all of them.

Never let me paint my accusations

with too broad a brush.

“…God destined for our glory before time began.”
(1 Corinthians 2:7)

You’re talking about secret wisdom, Jesus –

a wisdom that had long been hidden.

I can’t begin to imagine the magnitude of that statement!

Before I was born…before anyone was born
before You created the heavens and earth

You knew me
loved me
chose me

laid specific, amazing plans for the days You’ve allotted to me

to walk this earth…

then explore the vast reaches of Your creation

forever!
