Pray this Lazaroo with holy boldness:

“Then the royal officials at the king’s gate asked Mordecai, ‘Why do you disobey the king’s command?’”
(Esther 3:3)

The answer was simple, Jesus:

Haman was a wicked man who did not deserve to be honored.

But that wasn’t even the biggest reason.

Mordecai wasn’t about to bow down to anyone but You.
The fact that it was the king who ordered it was irrelevant

even though it might cost Mordecai his life.

May that kind of holy courage be mine!

Think again!…as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Do not execute the wise men of Babylon.”
(Daniel 2:24)

Daniel was pleading for the lives of heathens Jesus.

But he had to!

…because he was being lumped in with the very men
the king had ordered to be executed.

From a distance, Daniel could have been accused

of backing the wrong crowd.

But when I know the whole story

it makes perfect sense.

How often is that the case, Father?

How seldom do I know

the whole story?
