Be amazed, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…the army had no more water…”
(2 Kings 3:9)

They were Your people, Jesus

but they failed to plan ahead.

They rushed off on their mission

but failed to think the whole thing through.

Sadly, I can identify.

How many times, LORD? How many times?

Still, You didn’t leave them hanging!

You came through for them – miraculously.

I deserve it less than they did, LORD…

but again and again and again
You still keep coming through for me.

Pray this Lazaroo in humble anticipation:

“…he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth.”
(Zephaniah 1:18)

In the last days, Jesus

that’s what will happen.

You did it once by flood, when You gave Noah the rainbow sign:

no more water
the fire next time.

I’m thankful I missed the first time.

I sure don’t want to stick around for the second!

But this much I do long to experience and see:

Eternal life – in Your new heaven and earth.
