When You meet with me through Your Word and send me on a mission

I have no choice but to obey

even – or especially! –
when the mission is to go to an unbeliever.

Pray this Lazaroo with unrestrained allegiance:

“…receiving no help from the pagans.”
(3 John 1:7)

Is this a big ol’ surprise, Jesus?

No.
Hardly.

Pagans aren’t in the habit of helping me – or any of Your followers.

In fact, just the opposite.

They tend to get in our way

quite frequently opposing us.

So, receiving no help from the pagans

is no excuse for not being about Your business –

the business of sharing Your gospel with pagans

and being of eternal help to them.
