That’s extra incentive to live the way you had in mind

when You gave Your life for me on the cross, Jesus!

Not only to please You

but also to inspire others to believe in You
and give their lives to You.

So now the question:

Am I living in every way to make the teaching about You attractive?

If not, please show me!
So I can correct it.

Acknowledge your need of Him, as you pray this Lazaroo!

“…two prostitutes came to the king…One of them said…‘During the night this woman’s son died because she lay on him. So she…took my son from my side while I…was asleep. She put him by her breast and put her dead son by my breast.’ The other woman said, ‘No! The living one is my son; the dead one is yours.’”
(1 Kings 3:16, 19-20, 22)

No witnesses, Jesus.

How could Solomon possibly render a just verdict?

Man or woman, Jesus…

do all the people of my town know that about me?

If so, please remind me not to become complacent.
Help me keep living up to my reputation!

If my character is noble but they don’t know

all that matters is that You know.

If my character is not noble, then whether or not they know

You know.

I repent!

Please help me become
everything You’ve created me to be!

There’s a time for everything, Jesus.

But when I claim it’s not the time to serve You
because I’m too busy serving myself?

That wasn’t the only Old Testament prophecy You fulfilled, Jesus!

of one person fulfilling just 48 of them.

The odds against that?

One in 10, followed by 157 zeros!

Oh, yeah.

Pray this Lazaroo in grateful anticipation:

And so we’re blessed with another uplifting word from Solomon, Jesus.

For somebody so wise
he sure was in a snit of depression.

But he was almost right about one thing:

People in heaven are definitely happier
than those of us still on earth!
