Pray this Lazaroo in simple trust:

“…perhaps you will be sheltered…”
(Zephaniah 2:3)

As promises go, Jesus

this one leaves more than a little to be desired!

I like the definite promises that begin with words like, “You will!”

Those that begin with the word, “perhaps” scare me.

What if I do everything You command

but don’t get what I want?

Oh.

You’re teaching me humility, aren’t You?
You’re also teaching me obedience for its own reward

while leaving the results
in Your loving hands.
