Pray this Lazaroo in humble adulation:

“Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice…I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.”
(1 Kings 3:10-12)

You had already given Solomon enough wisdom to ask for the right thing, Jesus.

He had just enough
to know he needed more.

That’s about how much wisdom I have.

I know for a fact:
I need more!

“But in accordance with the command of the Lord our God, you did not encroach on any of the land of the Ammonites, neither the land along the course of the Jabbok nor that around the towns in the hills.”
(Deuteronomy 2:37)

You have all power, Jesus!

I can go wherever You tell me to go.

But may I never go to a place You’ve declared off limits.

If I try, Your power will leave me

and I’ll fail.
