Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

“As I listened, he said to the others, ‘Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion. Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.’”
(Ezekiel 9:5-6)

Such violent, merciless punishment violates our modern sensibilities, Jesus.

But we fail to recognize the depth of idolatry’s evil
and the rapidity with which it infects those it touches.

At some point I have to decide:

Do I trust my LORD and Savior to do only what’s right?

Pray this Lazaroo with burning emotion:

“Hear this, you priests! Pay attention, you Israelites! Listen, royal house! This judgment is against you: You have been a snare at Mizpah, a net spread out on Tabor. The rebels are knee-deep in slaughter. I will discipline all of them.”
(Hosea 5:1-2)

What we think is hidden, Jesus

isn’t.

What we think we do in secret

is fully known by You.

So when we hide things and do them in secret

may they only be good and not evil

to be showered with blessings from above!

Pray this Lazaroo with sold-out surrender:

“If someone brings a lamb as their sin offering, they are to bring a female without defect. They are to lay their hand on its head and slaughter it for a sin offering at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered.”
(Leviticus 4:32-33)

What an awful and powerful reminder

of the seriousness of my sin, Jesus!

That an innocent little lamb had to die because of what I did!

Especially because I don’t have to sin.

Great God Almighty!

Help me stop it!
