Pray this Lazaroo with deep reverence:

“…the Lord your God had made his spirit stubborn and his heart obstinate in order to give him into your hands, as he has now done. The Lord said to me, ‘See, I have begun to deliver Sihon and his country over to you. Now begin to conquer and possess his land.’”
(Deuteronomy 2:30-31)

You can make them do it.

Sell out totally to God as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…the whole house of Israel is…obstinate.”
(Ezekiel 3:7)

Obstinate is a pretty tough state to be in, Jesus.

Clueless would be better.
So would ignorant.
Helpless.
Stupid.

But obstinate means stubborn.

Hardheaded.
Unwilling.
Mulish.
Self-willed.

Refusing to do it Your way if it means I have to change.

And it does.
It always does.

Because my way is the highway

that leads to destruction.

Your way is the narrow way

the only way
that leads to joy, fulfillment

Life.
