You did this once through Moses, Jesus

when they crossed through the Red Sea.

You did it again for Joshua

sending Your people through the River Jordan.

repeat one of Your miracles through me.

“…Joshua set up at Gilgal the twelve stones they had taken out of the Jordan. He said to the Israelites, ‘In the future when your descendants ask their parents, “What do these stones mean?” tell them, “Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.”’”
(Joshua 4:20-22)

You parted the Red Sea for Moses, Jesus.

You parted the waters of the Jordan for Joshua
as Israel entered the promised land.

You know the waters I have to cross, LORD.

Fully open your heart, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“In [Jesus Christ our Lord] and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.”
(Ephesians 3:12)

Not beside You, Jesus…

in You.

Not through faith in myself…

but only through faith in You.

It is in You and through faith in You that the great barrier between human beings and God can be crossed.

It was our sin that created that barrier.
Okay. In my case, it’s my sin.
Mine.

But You died in my place on the cross

so I could enjoy You with freedom and confidence!
