Be filled with hope, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“From this day on…”
(Haggai 2:18)

That’s my rallying cry, Jesus:

“From this day on!”

There’s not one thing I can do to erase the past.

It’s done.

No matter how much I wish I could

I can’t undo it.

True, I can repent, apologize, repair –

and with Your help I will!

But what energizes me and gives me hope

is that the next chapter of my life hasn’t been written.

I’m collaborating with You on it

today.

Pray this Lazaroo all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“Confident of your obedience…”
(Philemon 1:21)

I wish You could be confident of mine, Jesus!

I wish my friends and family could be.
I wish I could be.

But I’m not.

Oh, I’m confident of my good intentions.

You know all about those, too.

I sure do mean well.

But my follow-through needs some work.

I don’t have to tell You that last statement was an understatement.

My follow-through needs a lot of work.

Help me. Please.
Help me.
