Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

As for me, this mystery has been revealed to me, not because I have greater wisdom than anyone else alive, but so that Your Majesty may know the interpretation and that you may understand what went through your mind.”
(Daniel 2:30)

You gave Daniel the ability to interpret dreams, Jesus.

That could have gone to his head.

But it didn’t.

He gave all the glory to You.

Though I’m no dream interpreter
that’s exactly what I intend to do!

Pray this Lazaroo with full-on ardor:

“No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about…”
(Daniel 2:27)

I love it, Jesus!

When the king asked Daniel if he could interpret his dream
Daniel could have said, “Absolutely! I can do it! I’m your man!”

But he didn’t.

Instead, he revealed his inadequacy, his inability
his utter dependence on You.

May I never be afraid to confess my limitations

and my total, complete, wholly dependent reliance

on You.
