Pray this Lazaroo in no-matter-what trust:

“…the livestock and the plunder from the towns we had captured we carried off for ourselves. From Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge, and from the town in the gorge, even as far as Gilead, not one town was too strong for us. The Lord our God gave us all of them.”
(Deuteronomy 2:35-36)

Thank You for giving us seasons like Jesus!

Please help us remember them

when You lead us through the dark valleys of loss.

Pray this Lazaroo with white-hot fervor:

“So the Lord God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”’”
(Genesis 3:14-15)

On the cross You crushed Satan’s head, Jesus!

and you deliver me from his every strike at my heel.

Pray this Lazaroo with lavish love:

“The Lord also said to Moses, ‘Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. The Levites are to be mine. I am the Lord.’”
(Numbers 3:44-45)

How incredibly special it was to be a Levite, Jesus!

That had to make them feel so close to You –
because they belonged to You.

Though not a Levite, I’ve put my faith in You –

which means lock, stock and barrel:

I’m Yours!

Pray this Lazaroo in sober agreement:

“So the Lord God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, “Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.”’”
(Genesis 3:14)

The happiness of this beautiful garden You created was destroyed, Jesus.

Sadly, the repercussions that fell on the human race
continue to this very day.

May I never again fall for one of Satan’s lies!

Pray this Lazaroo with sold-out surrender:

“Take the Levites for me in place of all the firstborn of the Israelites, and the livestock of the Levites in place of all the firstborn of the livestock of the Israelites. I am the Lord.”
(Numbers 3:41)

Yes, You Are LORD, Jesus!

When You struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, you set apart for Yourself every firstborn in Israel, whether human or animal, declaring them to be Yours –

just as You are the firstborn of all creation.

Pray this Lazaroo in soul-deep gratitude:

“…the descendants of Aaron were given…their pasturelands.”
(1 Chronicles 6:57)

It’s great to have houses in cities, Jesus

…but oh, those pasturelands!

wide-open expanses of grass and wildflowers

where a breath of sweet fresh air can be deeply inhaled
where livestock can graze on Your bounty.

I don’t have to own pasturelands to thoroughly enjoy them.

Their beauty is available to all who pass by
reminding us that whether we worked to acquire them or not

they’re still a gift.
