Be greatly encouraged as you pray this Lazaroo:

“I have heard the insults of Moab and the taunts of the Ammonites, who insulted my people and made threats against their land.”
(Zephaniah 2:8)

That’s all I need to know, Jesus.

When somebody targets me, I’m not alone.
You know the ins and outs of their insidious plans.

I’m not the best of Your people.

Not by a long shot.

But I belong to You – with every fiber of my being.

That means You take their actions against me Personally.

That being the case
I like my chances.

Pray this Lazaroo in devoted passion:

“I will drive the northern horde far from you, pushing it into a parched and barren land; its eastern ranks will drown in the Dead Sea and its western ranks in the Mediterranean Sea. And its stench will go up; its smell will rise.”
(Joel 2:20)

What an amazing promise You made to Your people, Jesus!

I love knowing that’s who You Are.

Because when I’m facing overwhelming odds
I know I’m not alone.

You’re Able to do for me
what I could never do for myself.

Pray this Lazaroo in tearful confidence:

“People have heard my groaning, but there is no one to comfort me.”
(Lamentations 1:21)

That’s the hardest, Jesus.

When I keep my suffering to myself
it’s not a surprise that no one comforts me.

But when my pain increases to the point that I’m forced to cry out
and still no one shows up with love and compassion

my agony is multiplied by the stunning realization
that I’m abandoned
forsaken
alone.

Except I’m not!
Hallelujah!!

I have You.

Wise up! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Many will follow their shameful ways…”
(2 Peter 2:2)

When “everybody’s doing it,” Jesus

it’s tempting to do it with them.
It feels safer.

But not when the crowd is opposed to You!

‘cause that whole crowd is marching right over the cliff.

Is it tough to stand alone?

Sometimes, yes.

But I’m not alone, am I?

I have You –

not to mention untold millions of my brother and sister Christians.

Because Satan’s a liar.
Everybody’s not “doing it.”

Be greatly encouraged as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…since you are going through the same struggle…”
(Philippians 1:30)

I’m not alone, am I, Jesus?

Not only are You with me every step

but there are countless others

battling the flesh and the devil
in the exact same ways I am.

They say, “Misery loves company.”

But that’s not why I love knowing
I’m not the only one.

It’s because when I see them winning their fight

it’s proof!

that You’re able to do the same for me.

Pray this Lazaroo with undiluted sincerity:

“…striving together as one for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you.”
(Philippians 1:27-28)

Normally, not being frightened in any way by those who oppose me would be an impossibility, Jesus.

But these circumstances change that.

Sharing salvation for all who trust in You!

How can You not protect me while I’m doing that?

Doing it in harmony with all who follow You.

With You and them
I’m not alone.

Pray this Lazaroo from the depths of your soul:

“…they leap over the mountaintops…”
(Joel 2:5)

You’re describing the Day of the LORD, Jesus

when an army of supernatural locusts will sweep over the earth
in terrifying pain, anguish and destruction.

Nowhere will be safe
not even those nestled in valleys surrounded by mountains.

I don’t want to be here then!
I don’t want to be surrounded by the suffering those locusts bring.

Some people say I may
some say I won’t

But either way

I’ll have You.

Pray this Lazaroo with bottomless trust:

“…when we were with him…”
(2 Peter 1:18)

I know You’re always with me, Jesus.

But the question is:
“Am I always with You?”

Technically, yes.

If You’re always with me
then by definition I’m always with You.

But do I always recognize that reality?

No. I don’t.

If I did, how could I sin like I do –

knowing full well
You’re right there with me?

When I realize You’re here – right now –

how can I ever feel lonely or afraid?
