Pray this Lazaroo with redoubled intention:

“…when the judge died, the people returned to…following other gods and serving and worshiping them. They refused to give up their evil practices and stubborn ways.”
(Judges 2:19)

What an incentive to install Godly leaders, Jesus…

and what an indictment against us
for so desperately needing them.

Why do we stray without someone standing over us

constantly reminding us of what we need to do
taking strong, loving action when we disobey?

Sigh. It is what it is.
