Examine your heart as you pray this Lazaroo:

“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it”
(James 2:14-16)

Impossible to argue, Jesus.

I can’t please you with my words alone.

I have to commit to obedient action.

Pray this Lazaroo with Holy Spirit-given awareness:

“Is it not the rich who are exploiting you?”
(James 2:6)

Not all the rich, Jesus

but some of them.

Maybe even some of the people I look up to

while I look down on those I should honor.

That can’t please You too much.

It doesn’t me, either!

How did I get so messed up?

Open my eyes, Father!
Clarify my thinking, Jesus!
Teach me Your truth, Holy Spirit!

May I treat every person You’ve created

with the respect due You.
