It doesn’t do much good, Jesus

to hear the great, life-changing truths of Your Word

then fail to remember them

not build every aspect of my life upon them.

You’ve told me to see to it that I don’t let that happen.

That means I’m the one responsible.

If I don’t do it
I have no one to blame but myself.

Pray this Lazaroo with unrestrained allegiance:

“Now a man who was lame from birth…asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, ‘Look at us!’ So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.”

He was about to get something all right, Jesus…

but it wasn’t from Peter and John.

It was from You!

He wanted money, but what he needed was to be healed.

That’s what I desire, Father!

Not what I think I want
but what You know I need.
