Pray this Lazaroo with holy caution:

“…Joab went to the king and said, ‘What have you done? Look, Abner came to you. Why did you let him go? Now he is gone! You know Abner son of Ner; he came to deceive you and observe your movements and find out everything you are doing.”
(2 Samuel 3:24-25)

That wasn’t what Joab feared, Jesus.

He was afraid Abner would replace him.

How many times do the people around me disguise their true intent?

Only You know.

Great God!

Pray this Lazaroo with unrestrained allegiance:

“Now a man who was lame from birth…asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, ‘Look at us!’ So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.”
(Acts 3:2-5)

He was about to get something all right, Jesus…

but it wasn’t from Peter and John.

It was from You!

He wanted money, but what he needed was to be healed.

That’s what I desire, Father!

Not what I think I want
but what You know I need.
