Pray this Lazaroo with no-holds-barred surrender:

“Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit.”
(Haggai 2:19)

That’s no accident, is it, Jesus?

It’s an unmistakable pattern that points to You.

Sometimes – for Your own perfect reasons – You keep my life fruitless

to teach…to get my attention…to humble me.

Oh, but I love those words, “Until now!”

When I’ve learned my lesson
when You’ve got my attention
when I’ve been humbled

the fruit will come!
