Pray this Lazaroo with white-hot fervor:

“Moses said…‘I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.’ The Lord said to him, ‘Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord?’”
(Exodus 4:10-11)

Please forgive me, Jesus

for all the times I’ve pulled out that same lame excuse

and told You why I couldn’t do what You’ve told me to do.

Pray this Lazaroo with burning emotion:

“When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel…”
(Galatians 2:14)

That’s when I’m forced to speak up, isn’t it, Jesus?

In a company, nation, church, community, project, group of friends

the first steps may seem right

but if over time there’s a blatant departure –

or a subtle one –

I can’t remain mute.

I have to speak up:

wisely, humbly, respectfully…
but firmly.

If I’m ignored, I have to keep trying

or get out.
