Pray this Lazaroo with unshakable belief:

“I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the Lord Almighty.”
(Malachi 3:1)

All those years, decades, centuries and millennia of waiting, Jesus

and then suddenly!
it happened.

May I never become impatient with Your timing.

I know.

Easier prayer to pray
than in faith to obey.

But this I also know:

You always do what’s best.

Pray this Lazaroo in humble gratitude.

“I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple…”
(Malachi 3:1)

You told us the name of that messenger, Jesus:

John the Baptist.

You Yourself are the Lord they were seeking who came to Your temple.

Though You came to Your own
they didn’t believe in You.

But there were some who believed in You.

To this day, all who do
have become Yours –

heart, mind, body and soul.

That clears up a few things, Jesus.

The atheist is a liar.

So when the atheist marshals their arguments against You

underneath every statement, every carefully-chosen fact
is hidden a deeply ugly secret:

The atheist isn’t seeking truth.

The atheist is desperately searching for a way
to escape Your authority over their life.

But their attempts are futile.

For one day soon they will stand before You

condemned.

Help me to come to Your Word with an open mind and heart!

seeking to proof-text what I already believe.

Instead, may I open my Bible in true humility
