Pray this Lazaroo in humble trust:

“Sisera, meanwhile, fled on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, because there was an alliance between Jabin king of Hazor and the family of Heber the Kenite. Jael went out to meet Sisera and said to him, ‘Come, my lord, come right in. Don’t be afraid.’ So he entered her tent, and she covered him with a blanket.”
(Judges 4:17-18)

Yes, she did, Jesus –

right before she drove a tent peg through his head.

What I think I know won’t save me.

Only You.

Raise your sights! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat. When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, ‘He is out of his mind.’”
(Mark 3:20-21)

You didn’t come here to enjoy a good meal, Jesus.

Your message was a little bigger than that.

You came to transform lives

call people to a higher purpose
change their destination from hell to heaven.

Those who don’t believe that about You

are the ones who are out of their minds.

Pray this Lazaroo in grateful faith:

“…show mercy…”
(Jude 1:23)

That’s what You did when You came to earth, Jesus.

In stunning mercy,

You deliberately chose
to experience what it means to be human..

Because You’re God, You already knew.

But when You entered this world as a baby

for the first time ever
You felt what we feel.

Now, when we come to You with our hurts and sorrows

You’re not limited to intellectual understanding.

You feel it
You get us

You share our emotions
in a way You never did before.

Pray this Lazaroo with deep reverence:

“’Who are you?’ he asked. ‘I am your servant Ruth,’ she said. ‘Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a guardian-redeemer of our family.’”
(Ruth 3:9)

Ruth took a huge chance, Jesus.

She entered the place where women never went

to offer herself to become the wife
of a man who hadn’t asked her to marry him.

But this was Your doing!

When You tell me to do something unusual or impossible

rules no longer apply.

Ask big! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Then I said, ‘Not so, Sovereign Lord! I have never defiled myself. From my youth until now…No impure meat has ever entered my mouth.’ ‘Very well,’ he said, ‘I will let you bake your bread over cow dung instead of human excrement.’”
(Ezekiel 4:14-15)

Did Ezekiel talk You out of it, Jesus…

or was this a test?

Sometimes I don’t get what I want because I didn’t ask.

Even so, You say yes

only when it’s Your will!

Pray this Lazaroo with unshakable belief:

“Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?…he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which is lawful only for priests to eat…The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath…So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
(Mark 2:25-28)

You’re the One who makes the rules, Jesus.

I’m not about to question You when You change them.

My job is real simple:

Obey.
