You blessed Your people, Jesus!

But You didn’t bless them
just to be blessing them.

You blessed them
to be a blessing.

May I never forget:

Every blessing I receive from You
creates an opportunity to be Your blessing

I need that reminder, Jesus.

I sometimes get so upset with myself
that I forget Who made me!

True – some of my shortcomings are my fault –

stuff I can correct, with Your help.

But how much of who and what I am

is exactly how You designed me?

Instead of wishing I was like somebody else

why don’t I instead lean on You to show me

why I’m the way I am?
