Pray this Lazaroo in passionate gratitude:

“Until now…”
(Haggai 2:19)

The “until now” of the past tries to hold us captive, Jesus

But You came to change that.

In You –

what I used to be, used to do, the way I used to think –

are irrelevant.

My future is as bright as Your promises –

which are dazzlingly brilliant!

I’m no longer required to drive forward while looking in my rearview mirror.

In You, I can look ahead

and see unfolding before my eyes

new possibilities!

Pray this Lazaroo with lavish love:

“…come with me.”
(Song of Songs 2:13)

It’s one thing for me to say:

“I’ll go with You, Jesus.”

That’s me making a promise to the one who loves me

more than I can even begin to imagine.

But when You say:

“Come with me…”

Wow. Oh, wow.

That’s the one who knows me inside and out
who knows every day of my past

every moment of my future

inviting me to accompany You
on the adventure of my life!

Pray this Lazaroo with white-hot fervor:

“They are…disobedient…”
(Titus 1:16)

May that never be said about me, Jesus…

…in the future.

That’s my one hope – my future obedience in You.

Because I’ve had a disobedient past.

Most people hold others’ pasts against them.

Some of us even hold it against ourselves.

But You’re the God of the Fresh Start!

You’re the only one who can erase
the failures of my permanent record.

You’re the only one who can take my ugly

and make it beautiful.
