Pray this Lazaroo with unrestrained allegiance:

“Indeed, on every high hill and under every spreading tree you lay down as a prostitute.”
(Jeremiah 2:20)

Strong words, Jesus.

Hard to hear.
But even worse, hard for You to see:

Your people worshiping other gods
instead of remaining faithful to You.

That’s exactly how You view me

every time I put someone or something
ahead of obedience to You:

as a prostitute.

Help, LORD!

That’s not what I want You to see when You look at me.
