Pray this Lazaroo with burning emotion:

“‘Hear this and testify against the descendants of Jacob,’ declares the Lord, the Lord God Almighty.”
(Amos 3:13)

Some things are hard to hear, Jesus

so we plug our ears
making noises with our mouths
engaging in frenetic activity

trying to keep Your warnings of doom
from penetrating all the way to our hearts
forcing us to repent.

But it’s the hardest messages from You

that I most need to hear, isn’t it?

Forgive me, LORD!
