Pray this Lazaroo with burning emotion:

“The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, ‘The person who does these things will live by them.’”
(Galatians 3:12)

If I was counting on my obedience to Your law to save me, Jesus

I’d be doomed to hell.

To say I fall short is not only to state the obvious.
It’s the understatement of the century.

It’s not because I don’t care.

I try with all my might to please You…

and then I don’t.

Thank You from the bottom of my heart

for Your gift of faith!

I wish You could be confident of mine, Jesus!

I wish my friends and family could be.
I wish I could be.

But I’m not.

Oh, I’m confident of my good intentions.

You know all about those, too.

I sure do mean well.

But my follow-through needs some work.

I don’t have to tell You that last statement was an understatement.

My follow-through needs a lot of work.
