Pray this Lazaroo in crystal clear recognition:

“Are [the rich]…not the ones who are dragging you into court?”
(James 2:6)

What an eye-opener, Jesus.

How often do I disregard those willing to help
and fawn on those who care only about themselves?

I prefer to think the answer is: Never!

But it’s possible that I’m in denial.

This world praises many people undeserving of adulation

while looking down on those worthy of respect.

O God!

Help me rip from my eyes the blinders of this world!
