Pray this Lazaroo in heart-melting gratitude:

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved…”
(2 Timothy 2:15)

That’s what I long for, Jesus!

with all my heart.

But how?

Seriously, how?

You know me.
You know what a mess I am.

If You wanted to

You could remind me of every sin I’ve ever committed.
What are they, now? In the billions?

But wait a minute!

Because I’ve put my faith in You
You’ve erased all my sins from Your record.

Wow.
That’s how.

Pray this Lazaroo all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“…the older women…can train the younger women to love their husbands…”
(Titus 2:3-4)

Why do we need training in how to love one another, Jesus?

Perhaps it’s because we know how we would like to be loved
so that’s how we attempt to love them.

But the way we’d like to be loved isn’t always the way we need to be loved

and we certainly don’t know how best to love others

…until – through the wise among us –

You train us.
