Pray this Lazaroo with growing anticipation:

“He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.”
(Micah 4:3)

What a promise, Jesus!

Certain, in the last days to come true.

Oh, not because there’s even a hint now that such a thing can happen

but because when You declare it
it’s as good as done.

Rejoice! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Because he had nine hundred chariots fitted with iron and had cruelly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years, they cried to the Lord for help. Now Deborah, a prophet, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time. She held court under the Palm of Deborah…and the Israelites went up to her to have their disputes decided.”
(Judges 4:3-5)

Jabin’s army commander Sisera didn’t know it yet, Jesus

but his nine hundred iron chariots were like straw before You.

May I never forget:

The Power is with me
when I’m with You!

Pray this Lazaroo in holy fear:

“…without…disputing.”
(1 Timothy 2:8)

You’re not commanding Your Church to be only “yes people,” Jesus.

We’re allowed to disagree, to share alternative views
so long as they’re based on Your Word
and not mere opinion.

But what You forbid is disputing – argumentative disagreement –

the kind that is disrespectful, disruptive, disorderly.

Disputing destroys the unity of Your Church
which is so crucial to Your mission!

Show me how to respectfully offer a different view

while trusting You for the outcome.

Pray this Lazaroo with faith in the God who can:

“He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples.”
(Isaiah 2:4)

That’s one of the toughest things on earth to accomplish, Jesus!

Once again, I’m in awe of You.

I’ve tried to settle disputes between friends and family…

…and sometimes ended up making it worse.

The more people who are involved

the harder it is to get everyone on both sides to agree
to something they didn’t want to begin with.

You, LORD…are amazing.
