May evil never deceive me, Jesus!
Of course, it has
too often.
But even while I partook of its lies, sampled Satan’s wares
I knew better.
When I’m tempted to sin, You continue to warn me
when I give in to temptation, You convict me
which is why I pray:
May evil never again deceive me!
