Pray this Lazaroo with overwhelming gratitude:

“Jonah obeyed the word of the LORD…”
(Jonah 3:3)

Finally, Jesus.

After he disobeyed You the first time.
After he ran from You.
After You had to scare the living daylights out of him.

Now he obeys.

Sadly, I can identify!

How many times have You had to correct me
turn me around?

You could say, “Too late, Bucko! I’m sick and tired of you.”

But You don’t.

With loving, forgiving arms open wide

You welcome me back home.
