Pray this Lazaroo in holy fear:

“You have no part with us in building a temple to our God. We alone will build it for the LORD, the God of Israel…”
(Ezra 4:3)

That sounds rude, Jesus.

Here these “nice people” were offering to help the Jews build Your temple

and they were rebuffed!

The Jews wouldn’t let them!

But Your leaders recognized that these people were their enemies

looking for a way to sabotage the work.

O God!
Open our eyes!

Watch your step! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“When the enemies of Judah and Benjamin heard that the exiles were building a temple for the Lord, the God of Israel, they… said, ‘Let us help you build because, like you, we seek your God…’”
(Ezra 4:1-2)

It’s a fact, Jesus:

Your enemies will sometimes pretend to be my friends.

Oh, how I need Your guidance, Holy Spirit!

Help me see through them!

May I never be so desperate for friends

that I fall for their lying deception.

Pray this Lazaroo with focused intent:

“…on behalf of Christ…”
(Philippians 1:29)

That’s how I intend to live my life, Jesus –

on behalf of You.

I want everything I think, say and do

to be for You.

If that truly is my heart, my plan, my goal, my purpose –

how can I go wrong?

There’s no higher reason for living

no greater way to move singlemindedly through each day.

Rise up within me in power, Holy Spirit!

so that my intent

will be fulfilled in action.
