“If someone brings a lamb as their sin offering, they are to bring a female without defect… the priest shall burn it on the altar…In this way the priest will make atonement for them for the sin they have committed, and they will be forgiven.”
(Leviticus 4:32,35)

My sin has to be atoned for, doesn’t it, Jesus?

It can’t simply be ignored.

You are the Lamb that once and for all

Are there any sweeter words in any language, Jesus?

Maybe…but not many.

I know my sins.

Not all of them, certainly.
There are too many to keep count.

But some of those I do remember haunt me.

I wish I had never committed them.
In fact, I can’t think of a single sin I don’t regret.

But O Jesus!

I’m stunned!

Because of my faith in You
You’ve forgiven all my sins!

Forever!
