It doesn’t do much good, Jesus

to hear the great, life-changing truths of Your Word

then fail to remember them

not build every aspect of my life upon them.

You’ve told me to see to it that I don’t let that happen.

That means I’m the one responsible.

If I don’t do it
I have no one to blame but myself.

In that case, Jesus…

these must be the last times.

I see both happening:

People making fun of the truths of Your Word

Men and women living blatantly disobedient lives
with no thought of You.

In this environment, taking my stand for You and Your Word is extremely unwelcome.

But that’s okay.

I’m standing.
I’m not gonna budge.
I know how this ends.

There are a lot of facts out there, Jesus.

Anyone with an eye, an ear, a mouth and a brain can state them.

There are many partial truths floating throughout society

for those who wish to ponder them.

But there’s only one way of truth

only one opportunity to see the whole of it.

You Are The Way

The Truth

and The Life.

No one comes to the Father except through You.

Before I can help the people around me by explaining Your Word
they have to let me.

What a privilege it is to share Your life-changing truths!

But before they can do anyone any good
that person has to truly want to understand.

Otherwise, like good seed sown on hard, unresponsive, unyielding ground

Your Biblical precepts that have the power to transform
will fall on deaf, uncomprehending ears.
