Pray this Lazaroo with catalytic dedication:

“O God of my fathers: You have given me…power…”
(Daniel 2:23)

I know that’s true, Jesus.

But I also know I’m not tapping into its full force.

You promised I’d be able to do even greater things

than You did on earth.

I believe You!

But I have yet to see it.

Why?

It has to be for the same reason Your disciples fell short:

my lack of faith.

O God – You know I believe!

Please help my unbelief.

“…the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones…”
(Jude 1:14)

That’s a lot of holy ones, Jesus!

What a Day that’ll be.
Wrongs finally made right.

Angels? Yes, Sure.

But not only angels.

Those of us who’ve followed You, died and gone to heaven

will be coming with You and the angels, too.

But people like me? Holy?

Maybe not now, here on earth.
But in heaven, they’ll be like You.

And so will I.

“I will make you as unyielding and hardened as they are.”
(Ezekiel 3:8)

Some people wouldn’t call that Christian, Jesus.

They believe Your followers should always be
tender, loving and kind.

Most of the time they’re right.

But no one is as Christian as You Are!

You know I’m in a battle against the forces of evil.

When necessary…

You equip me to fight fire with fire.

And I am SO grateful

that Your fire is hotter than theirs.

Why did John feel that way, Jesus?

It was because he had given his whole life for this, wasn’t it?

Every teacher hopes their words are more than heard.

They long for the truths they teach
to change the lives of their hearers.

May John, now in heaven, continue to experience great joy

as he looks down and watches me.
