Pray this Lazaroo with every fiber of your being:

“All Israel…were taken captive to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.”
(1 Chronicles 9:1)

That’s where unfaithfulness leads, isn’t it, Jesus?

Captivity.

Ironic. The reason anyone disobeys You

is to get out from under Your commands
opting for freedom to go their own way

not realizing that Your laws
are safeguards.

Once “free” of the umbrella of protection Your statutes afford

they become sitting ducks
for everything Satan wants to do to them

hastening the day
when they’ll be manacled
staring hopelessly through bars.

“…the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”
(Colossians 2:2-3)

When I have You, Jesus

I’ve got it all.

Everything God has, You have –

because You’re God
and God has everything.

Speaking of which:

You have me!

I’ve given myself to You, body and soul
past, present and future
nothing held back!

Which means I will always have everything I need
because I will always, always, always have You.
