Pray this Lazaroo with burning zeal:

“Joshua set up the twelve stones that had been in the middle of the Jordan at the spot where the priests who carried the ark of the covenant had stood. And they are there to this day.”
(Joshua 4:9)

What an awesome reminder of that miracle, Jesus!

We need reminders.

Because too often
we forget.

That usually happens

when we ask You for something that isn’t best
and don’t get it.

Maybe I need to set up some physical reminders

of the things You’ve done for me!

Pray this Lazaroo with unrestrained allegiance:

“Now a man who was lame from birth…asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, ‘Look at us!’ So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.”
(Acts 3:2-5)

He was about to get something all right, Jesus…

but it wasn’t from Peter and John.

It was from You!

He wanted money, but what he needed was to be healed.

That’s what I desire, Father!

Not what I think I want
but what You know I need.

You don’t have to wait for a person to cooperate.
You can make them do it.

What courage this man exhibited, Jesus –

willing to stand against all his peers
because he could see what You were doing.

May I be courageous, LORD

Sometimes when You show up I’m afraid, Jesus

When they brought their offering to the priest, Jesus

in reality, they were offering it to You.

When I give my tithes and offerings to my church

That’s how You work nearly every miracle, Jesus –

in spite of our animosity, doubt and outright disbelief.

True, some miracles are granted to those who have faith

which comes directly from You

as a gift.

To us, this seems unjust, Jesus

You are Just!

This side of heaven, we don’t have the ability to grasp

“Jesus said to him, ‘Away from me, Satan! For it is written: “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.”’ Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.”
(Matthew 4:10-11)

You’re teaching me how to successfully battle the devil, Jesus:

1. Tell him to get away.
2. Quote the Word to him.
3. Make it clear that I will serve no one but You.

That kind of encounter with the enemy of my soul can be exhausting.

But when needed

You’ll send Your angels to attend me!
