Pray this Lazaroo from the depths of your soul:

“I wrote as I did so that when I came I should not be distressed by those who ought to make me rejoice…”
(2 Corinthians 2:3)

I can identify, Jesus –

remembering people I’ve loved
in whom I’ve invested

who’ve brought me grief.

I know I’m supposed to do everything unto You

and not expect my reward from those I serve.

But still, It’s hard…

perhaps as hard as it is for You
when I treat You the same way.
