(2 Samuel 2:10)

Some people think that’s an excellent age to become a leader, Jesus –

not too young to be inexperienced
not too old to be out-of-touch.

But that doesn’t always apply, does it?

Some 30 year-olds are ready to lead
Some 40 year-olds will still be too immature when they’re 80.

Some 40-plus will stay in touch with what’s going on
till the day they die.
