Here’s how to Lazaroo!

Dial-a-Prayer continues here: https://lazaroo.com You will have at your fingertips 5,598 Lazaroos that with the LORD’s help Pastor Steve prayerfully created over more than 15 years. They will take you on an unforgettable journey 84 times through every book of the Bible! Use the search bar to type in any topic you wish to study. Chances are, there are a number of Lazaroos that will further increase your understanding of that very issue. Or, simply type in any date between March 1, 2009 and July 8, 2024 and the Lazaroo for that day will pop up. If you like, you can choose any of those 15 years, then type in today’s date. In that way, you can always keep the Lazaroos in order for that year, while journeying through every book of the Bible every 66 days. We also hope you’ll experience what it’s like to pour your heart out to God using LazaView and LazaVideo! They are among our favorite ways to type out our prayers each day. You can also speak your prayers into these beautiful scenes and watch your words appear. Wow. Each day’s Lazaroo also provides Scripture references for further study on the topic(s) of the day. It has been Pastor Steve's joy and honor to devote a major part of his life to this ministry. We are asking the LORD to take what He and and Pastor Steve have created and use it each day in your life to equip and inspire you to experience Deep, Daily, Moment-by-Moment, 1on1 relationship with Jesus.

Pray this Lazaroo with bulldog faith:

“…you know that our testimony is true.”
(3 John 1:12)

That was John’s reputation, Jesus.

People knew they could trust him
no matter the circumstances.

As with all reputations
it has to be earned.

With everything in me

I long for that to be my reputation too!

But I know it doesn’t happen because I’ve told the truth most of the time.

I need to be a person who tells the truth all the time
even when it hurts.

Pray this Lazaroo with heartfelt anticipation:

“I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.”
(2 John 1:12)

Partial joy is good, Jesus.

It sure beats total sorrow!

Partial joys are little oases in the desert of life!

Thank You for every one You’ve given me.

But complete joy?

Whew! I was starting to think I’d have to wait till heaven for that one.

But if John can experience complete joy by visiting passionate believers

why can’t I?

Pray this Lazaroo from the depths of your soul:

“‘How gladly would I treat you like my children and give you a pleasant land, the most beautiful inheritance of any nation. I thought you would call me “Father” and not turn away from following me. But like a woman unfaithful to her husband, so you, Israel, have been unfaithful to me,’ declares the Lord.”
(Jeremiah 3:19-20)

I have no intention of turning away from You, Jesus!

Not ever.

It is my desire to remain faithful to You

every moment
of every hour
of every day

until You call me home to be with You!

Sell out totally to God as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…his anointing teaches you about all things…”
(1 John 2:27)

Then give me Your anointing, Jesus!

I am so grateful for what You’ve taught me thus far.

I’ve grown.

My understanding has increased from what it was
at the beginning of my walk with You.

Oh, but there’s so much more I don’t grasp!

I’m still but a child, desperately needing to be taught.

As I spend time in prayer and in Your Word, Holy Spirit

enlighten me!

Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

“Now I will tell you what I am going to do to my vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it will be destroyed; I will break down its wall, and it will be trampled. I will make it a wasteland, neither pruned nor cultivated, and briers and thorns will grow there. I will command the clouds not to rain on it.”
(Isaiah 5:5-6)

I never want to turn You into my enemy, Jesus!

Please keep me close to You.
Please – never let me stray.

I choose to stay in deep, daily, moment-by-moment, 1on1 relationship with You

forever.

Pray this Lazaroo in total dedication:

“With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed—an accursed brood!”
(2 Peter 2:14)

What are my eyes full of, Jesus?

If not adultery, what?

Even if it’s a different sin, the result is the same.

I’ll never stop sinning.

Only when my eyes are full of love for You and Your Word

pleasing You and serving Your people

will I be able to stop my sinning
and start laying up significant heavenly treasure.

Pray this Lazaroo with sacrificial love:

“The watchmen found me as they made their rounds in the city. They beat me, they bruised me; they took away my cloak, those watchmen of the walls! Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you—if you find my beloved, what will you tell him? Tell him I am faint with love.”
(Song of Songs 5:7-8)

Would I do that for You, Jesus –

endure beating, bruising, abuse because of my love for You?

I’d better!

because that’s what You did because of Your love for me.
