Pray this Lazaroo in devoted passion:

“But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry.”
(Jonah 4:1)

There are a lot of things going on right now, Jesus

that seem very wrong to me.

Am I going to be like Jonah?

Am I going to be angry about it
shake my fist in Your face

and charge You with wrongdoing?

Even worse

am I going to lose faith
conclude You no longer intervene
in the affairs of earth?

NO!

I put all my trust in You!

Pray this Lazaroo with locked-in faith:

“…her paths [lead] to the spirts of the dead.”
(Proverbs 2:18)

You’re speaking of those who commit adultery, Jesus

who betray their marriage partners
in affairs and one night stands.

That choice leads to death of so many kinds, doesn’t it?

Death of trust, hopes, dreams
stability, innocence.

But having said that

I cannot begin to thank You enough
for the new life of Your mercy.

Even for the worst of us

You’re the God of the Second Chance.

Pray this Lazaroo in breakthrough insight:

“No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs…”
(2 Timothy 2:4)

I’m Your soldier, Jesus, at Your command.

Am I getting involved in anything that’s none of my business?

If so, please show me!

I don’t want to mess it up.

Nor do I want to be distracted
from the awesome mission You’ve assigned to me.

Besides…

people tend to meddle in the affairs of others
when they don’t know what to do with their own.
