I gave my life to You, Jesus

because You gave Your life for me.

I was determined to obey You from that moment forward.

But I haven’t.
I’ve sinned.
A lot.

I’ve confessed my sins.

I’ve forsaken them.

Only to pick them back up again.

I have no excuse – but You see it, LORD:

within the heart of my being
is a desire to continue in Your teaching.

Forgive me!
Fill me!
Save me!

“Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you? You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone.”
(2 Corinthians 3:1-2)

Bottom line? Paul’s got it right, Jesus.

The difference You make through me in the lives of others
tells the story about what kind of person I am.
