Pray this Lazaroo with deep reverence:

“Say to Aaron and his sons:…‘The sin offering is to be slaughtered before the Lord in the place the burnt offering is slaughtered; it is most holy. The priest who offers it shall eat it; it is to be eaten in the sanctuary area, in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.”
(Leviticus 6:25-26)

You told them what to do

where to do it

and how to do it, Jesus.

Do that for me!

Well…actually, You’ve already done that in Your Word.

Maybe I should obey those
before begging for more direction.

Hold nothing back, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“The king went to Gibeon to offer sacrifices, for that was the most important high place, and Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.”
(1 Kings 3:4)

Big whoop.

Gibeon may have been the most important high place, Jesus
but Solomon was supposed to destroy all these high places –

not worship You on them.

May I never sin in the most important area of my life

in a badly mistaken notion that what I’m doing

honors You!

“…these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand.”
(2 Peter 2:12)

Am I doing that, Jesus?

I don’t think so…

but if it’s in an area I don’t understand
I could very well be guilty and not know it.

I have to face it:

There’s a whole lot I don’t understand!

You’re the one who gives understanding.

You know what I need to know
and what I don’t.

Help me grasp what I need
and respond exactly as You desire!
