Take notes, as you pray this Lazaroo::

“Jesus said to him, ‘Away from me, Satan! For it is written: “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.”’ Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.”
(Matthew 4:10-11)

You’re teaching me how to successfully battle the devil, Jesus:

1. Tell him to get away.
2. Quote the Word to him.
3. Make it clear that I will serve no one but You.

That kind of encounter with the enemy of my soul can be exhausting.

But when needed

You’ll send Your angels to attend me!

Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

“Anyone who…does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God…”
(2 John 1:9)

That explains a lot, Jesus!

I often wonder how in the world someone who

attended church
served in ministries
donated to causes
seemed to be a Christian brother or sister

could suddenly abandon everything they supposedly stood for.

Now I know:

They had religion
but they didn’t have You.
