Pray this Lazaroo with redeemed perspective:

“Your breasts are like two fawns, like twin fawns of a gazelle that browse among the lilies. Until the day breaks and the shadows flee, I will go to the mountain of myrrh and to the hill of incense. You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.”
(Song of Songs 4:5-7)

Actually, she did have flaws, Jesus.

I don’t know what they were
but every person has them.

Solomon, however, saw her as flawless –

perfect…because that was how You created her.

Awesome Father:

Help me see everyone through Your eyes!

Pray this Lazaroo from the depths of your soul:

“They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings…”
(Hosea 3:5)

What a fascinating juxtaposition, Jesus:

“trembling”…and “blessing.”

So as I look at this, here’s what I’m wondering:

Do You bless those who approach You with trembling?

Well, I know You bless everyone in ways beyond counting.

But do You reserve a special blessing for those
who tremble because they recognize more than most

Your greatness, majesty, wisdom, love and power?

Awesome God!
I come trembling!

Pray this Lazaroo with bottomless trust:

“…we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children…comforting…”
(1 Thessalonians 2:11-12)

The best fathers know how to do that, don’t they, LORD?

Some children merely need to be told it’s all right.
Others require specifics – they want to be told why it’s all right! 😉

Really good fathers also know when their child needs comfort

and when they need to be rebuked, questioned, challenged.

Thank You for being an awesome Father to me!
