Pray this Lazaroo in holy fear:

“…we kept telling you that we would be persecuted. And it turned out that way, as you well know. For this reason, when I could stand it no longer, I sent to find out about your faith.”
(1 Thessalonians 3:4-5)

Persecutions are scary things, Jesus.

In this, I’m like Paul:

When someone I love
is battling through a horrible experience
my biggest concern is the impact on their faith.

To those enduring the devastation of Satan’s vicious attacks

help me be a blessing!

Pray this Lazaroo from the depths of your heart:

“…it is defiled…”
(Micah 2:10)

Someone or something starts out fine, Jesus

and then it’s defiled.

A word or action displeasing to You is all it takes

for it to be defiled.

You give me specific instructions about life

that You intend for me to follow.

When I don’t do it the way You prescribe

I defile the very thing You’ve provided to be a blessing.

How foolish.
What a waste!

May I never, ever defile one of Your gifts!

Pray this Lazaroo with a full heart:

“I hope to be restored to you…”
(Philemon 1:22)

That’s so good, Jesus.

Paul isn’t focused on restoration for his own sake.

His desire is to be restored to his friend and fellow worker.

He knows Philemon has been praying for that very thing.

When I’m down sick or unavailable

who needs my restoration?

Help me get my focus off of myself

and onto You for Your wisdom and strength
so I can be a blessing to others.
